Know the exam pattern
NEET paper consists of questions from subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (Zoology & Botany). There are 45 questions from each of the 4 sections. Thus paper contains a total of 180 questions, where the maximum 720 marks. Questions are of intermediate level based on 11th and 12th standard Physics, Chemistry and Biology books that follow the CBSE syllabus. MCQs are asked in the exam with 4 marks for each right answer and 1 mark deducted for every wrong answer.
Know the syllabus
Before starting for NEET preparation, students should give at-most importance to understanding NEET syllabus. Our students must compare the exam syllabus with board syllabus as their are subtle changes in Telangana board syllabus and CBSE syllabus. It is important that they spend some extra time to concentrate on the syllabus which is not covered.
There are innumerable NEET preparation books and NEET study material in the market. All claim to be best for NEET preparation. Many students also have belief that having more number of NEET books and resources can increase the chances to crack the exam. This is not true. Students should follow the right NEET books to prepare for the exam.
Students should consult with KVC counselors and teachers for which books they can follow. NCERT books are one of the best books for NEET Preparation.
