National Testing Agency, NTA will begin JEE Main 2021 February examination from tomorrow, February 23 onwards. The examination for the February session would be conducted on February 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2021. The admit card has already been released by the Agency on February 12 on the official site of jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main exam 2021 would be conducted on two shifts- the first shift would be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift would be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates who will appear for the examination can check the dress code and the COVID19 guidelines before appearing for the exam.

  1. The Agency has not allowed candidates to wear shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons at the exam hall.
  2. Before each shift starts (and after the last shift of the candidate) Seating Area will be thoroughly sanitized – monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk, and chair. All door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc will be disinfected. Wheelchairs (if present at the venue) will be disinfected.
  3. Candidates need to maintain a space of at least 6 feet from each other at all the time. Queue manager/ropes and Floor Marks will be arranged outside the center, follow the instructions provided by center staff.
  4. The candidate appearing for the exam will be offered a fresh 3 Ply mask before entry. In order to stop chances of any UFM being used in the examination, the candidate is expected to wear the freshly provided mask at the center. The candidate will be required to remove the mask worn by him/ her from home and use the mask provided at the center only.
  5. Lab numbers will not be displayed outside the center to avoid any crowding at any one place in any situation.
  6. As per GOI guidelines, seating arrangements between two students will have gaps in between.
  7. Hand Sanitizer will be available at entry and inside the exam venue at various places for candidates and center staff to use.

Around 6.60 lakh students have reportedly registered for the JEE Main exam for February. The exam would begin with Paper 2 on February 23, 2021. Paper 2 will be held separately as Paper 2A for BArch and Paper 2B for BPlanning. This year the examination will be conducted in multiple sessions for admissions in the next academic session.
